About

Local metal artist, a one-witch show.

I make things out of steel, silver, copper metal.... while listening to metal, hardcore, punk, etc. I make artwork from the mindset of a metalhead. A place where things like crushed beer cans and crucifixes go hand in hand. My wares include jewelry, drawings, prints, stickers, and sometimes the odd nostalgic throwback like oversized safety pins or pull-tab chains.

My jewelry is mostly made out of metal trash; things like bottle caps, nails, spare change, bullet casings, etc. and turned into something wearable, beautiful, and badass. Taking something unwanted and disposable and turning it into a thing that can be loved is so deeply symbolic to the personal experience of almost every person in my life, whether they're metalheads, LGBTQ+, pagans of many denominations, people who struggle in our current society.

My drawings delve into the blasphemous using lots of goats, sheep, and snake symbolism because a lot of other humans that I consider "my people" all have this similar experience of being raised in a cultural norm that didn't fit quite right, but deep down we still crave community and grieve what we lost in the process of finding who we are.

It's a balance between being lightheaded, silly, finding the joy in life and also healing the growing pains and wounds of the past. All of these wild life experiences and seemingly disperate concepts comes together under my banner of Strega Serpente, the Snake Witch.
